Lo-Chlor Pool Algaecide is an excellent general-purpose algaecide that remains active in the pool water for 90 days. It is based on a low dose, organo copper complex, which is extremely effective and highly economical (1LT treats up to 120,000 Litres pool water). It is effective in controlling all algae types. There is not a pool that won’t benefit from this amazing product.

Important Notes
- Do not superchlorinate your pool for 48 hours before or after adding the product.
- Not suitable for pools using ionisers or Nature2 systems.
- Always test your pool for phosphate levels after using any Lo-Chlor algaecide, as phosphates can encourage algae regrowth.
How It Works
Lo-Chlor Tropical Pool Algaecide combines Lo-Chlor’s proven organo copper technology with a powerful quaternary ammonium compound to deliver exceptional algae control. This dual-action formula attacks algae from multiple angles, making it highly effective against algae that may be resistant to standard treatments.
When used in saltwater pools, the formula may occasionally produce fine surface bubbles as it reacts with gases created inside the chlorinator cell. This is a temporary effect that usually disappears within 5 to 7 days or once the chlorinator is switched off.
In some cases, high concentrations of the active ingredients may temporarily increase combined chlorine levels for a few days. If this persists, treatment with Lo-Chlor Aqua-Boost is recommended.
Dosage
2.5L treats up to 50,000 litres of pool water.
For best results, follow the directions on the label and ensure your pool water is correctly balanced before treatment.
