How It Works
Phosphates enter your pool from leaves, rainwater, fertilisers, sunscreen, and other organic matter. Once present, they become a food source for algae, making it more difficult for your sanitiser to maintain clean, healthy water.
Lo-Chlor Starver® X uses a specialised blend of advanced polymers and rare earth compounds to rapidly bind and remove phosphates from the water, restoring ideal water conditions and reducing the likelihood of future algae outbreaks.
For long-term phosphate control, follow your initial treatment with Lo-Chlor Starver® M as part of your regular maintenance program.
Application
- Add 200mL per 10,000 litres of pool water directly into the skimmer box.
- Continue running the pump and filter after application for best results.
Important Information
- The pool water may become temporarily cloudy after application. This is normal and will typically clear within 24 hours while the filtration system is operating.
- Starver® X is designed as a high-strength phosphate treatment and should be followed by a maintenance program using Lo-Chlor Starver® M.
- Regularly test phosphate levels and maintain balanced pool water for optimal results.
- Safe to use with automatic dosing systems and all recognised pool sanitisers.
