David has been working with swimming pools since he was 13 years old, when he used to help his parents Peter and Maria who had a pool building business at the time. He is now the proud owner of Ipswich Pool and Spa Centre, which has been operating since 1975 – it was Ipswich’s very first pool shop.
Ipswich Pool and Spa Centre is a family owned-business located in East Ipswich that is known for their quick service and knowledgeable staff. We’re always happy to have a chat and answer any questions you might have about your pool and we pride ourselves on being able to solve all of your pool problems – if we can’t fix it ourselves, then we know someone who can!

At Ipswich Pool and Spa Centre, we still do water testing ‘the old fashioned way’ using chemicals because it allows us to adjust the result to the individual specifications of your pool, such as whether it is concrete, tiled or fibreglass as well as taking into account the Ipswich climate. This is something that computing systems are not calibrated to do – they offer a generic result that may not be suitable for your swimming pool. To find out more about our services, click here.
